ROCKWOOL R-CLASS WON & DONE SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES & REGULATIONS

PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The Rockwool R-CLASS Won & Done Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by ROXUL INC. “ROCKWOOL” (the “Sponsor”). The Promotion begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on February 27, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on December 31, 2024 (the “Promotion Period”). By entering this Promotion, entrants agree to abide by these Promotion Rules and Regulations (the “Official Rules”). The decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of the Promotion are final. The information you provide will only be used to administer the Promotion in accordance with the Sponsor’s privacy policy.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the forty nine (49) United States and District of Columbia (excluding, for clarity, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories and possessions) and Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older or the age of majority in their primary state of residence/province/territory at the time of entry; are licensed contractors and/or builders as of the start date of the Promotion and are registered R‑Class members at time of entry who earn their primary source of income in the builders’ industry (see rule 3 on how to register for the R‑Class program). Employees of the Sponsor, ROCKWOOL Building Science Team (“RBS”), its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion and other agencies (“Promotion Entities”) and their families and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE R-CLASS PROGRAM: To be eligible to enter the Promotion, you must be registered with the R‑Class Program. Registration is free. To register, visit https://rclass.rockwool.com/join#submit, complete the entry form and click “Submit”. Upon registration you will be eligible to enter the Promotion (see rule 4 on how to enter the Promotion).

HOW TO ENTER THE PROMOTION. There are two (2) ways to enter the Promotion:

1. In Person: Between February 27, 2024 and February 29, 2024 (the “Trade Show Entry Period”), visit the Rockwool booth at the 2024 International Builders Trade Show (the “Trade Show”) at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)in Las Vegas, NV and a Rockwool representative will direct you to the screen to enter the Contest.
   OR
2. Online: During the Promotion Period, visit rclass.rockwool.com/won-and-done (the “Promotion Website”) to enter the Contest.

Complete the entry form (the “Entry Form”) with your first and last name, daytime telephone number (including area code), a valid email address, company name and complete mailing address (including zip/postal code). Next, select the insulation types applicable to your Building Project, enter the estimate square footage of your Building Project, enter your R‑Class membership number and answer the following question:

• Does this project have a set of building plans/prints? yes or no (if no, enter expected date plans will be finalized).

Next, confirm compliance with these Official Rules and upon doing so, click the “Submit your Entry” button and you will receive one (1) entry (the “Entry”) into the applicable Prize Period (see rule 5). Limit of one (1) Entry per licensed contractor and/or builder per Prize Period. Contractors/builders may submit the same Entry into each Prize Period however there is a limit of one (1) Prize per licensed contractor and/or builder during the Promotion Period.

PRIZE PERIODS: The Promotion Period is divided into two (2) prize periods (each a “Prize Period”) that are as follows:

Prize Period 1
Begins 12:00:00 AM ET on February 27, 2024 and ends 11:59:59 PM ET on July 31, 2024
Draw date: August 07, 2024

Prize Period 2
Begins 12:00:00 AM ET on August 01, 2024 and ends 11:59:59 PM ET on December 31, 2024
Draw date: January 07, 2025

PRIZES: There are two (2) Prizes available to be won (one (1) per Prize Period”), each consisting of up to a maximum of $9,000 USD value of ROCKWOOL stone wool insulation (ROCKWOOL Safe'n'Sound^®; Rockwool Comfortbatt^® or Rockwool Comfortboard^® 80, as selected by the winner and in conjunction with approval from the RBS team as per application use) to be used towards each winner’s Building Project (each a “Prize”). The Prize will not be released unless and until the declared Prize winner first shows proof of approved plans of his/her Building Project and shows satisfactory proof (as determined by the Sponsor) that the Rockwool insulation portion of the Building Project will be completed within 365 days of being confirmed as a winner. If a winner does not use any portion of the Prize, there will be no substitution, or any kind of compensation provided. Prizes must be accepted as awarded without substitution, are not transferable, not for resale and have no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right, if a Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize of equal or greater value, without liability. Limit of one (1) Prize per licensed contractor and/or builder during the Promotion Period. Only two (2) Prizes will be awarded during the Promotion Period (one (1) per Prize Period). All applicable federal, state, provincial and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Prizes will be awarded on site at the winner’s Building Project by the Sponsor at a date and time that will be coordinated between the winner and the Sponsor.

PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, participation in the Promotion constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor and its affiliates, agents and/or affiliated third parties use of each winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state/ province/territory for promotional purposes in any media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, without further payment or consideration, notice, review or approval, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this Promotion, except to the extent prohibited by law. By way of example, Prize winners may be announced on the Promotion Website and on any other media outlets including the Sponsor’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) (now known or hereafter created) as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.

DRAWS: One (1) random draw for each Prize Period, (each a “Prize Draw”) will be held on each of the respective Prize Draw Dates listed in the table in rule 5 in Oakville, Ontario from among all eligible Entries received during each applicable Prize Entry Period. The odds of being selected as a potential Prize winner will depend on the total number of eligible Entries received for each applicable Prize Entry Period. PLEASE NOTE: Non-winning Entries WILL be carried over into the subsequent Prize Entry Period. Each potential winner will be contacted by telephone and/or email within three (3) business days of the applicable Draw Date.

WINNER NOTIFICATION & PRIZE AWARDING: Potential winners will be notified by telephone and/or email at Sponsor’s discretion, by the RBS team within three (3) business days of being selected in the applicable Draw Date (see rule 5) with instructions on how to verify eligibility and claim the Prize using contact information provided at time of entry.

1. To be confirmed a winner and awarded the Prize, potential winners:
2. must first show proof to the RBS team of their approved Building Project plans within five (5) business days of being contacted;
3. show satisfactory proof (as determined by the RBS team) that the Rockwool insulation portion of the Building Project will be completed within 365 days of being confirmed a winner;
4. must be willing to meet (by Webinar at a mutually convenient time) for up to two (2) hours with the RBS team to discuss the installation of the Prize (the “Consultation”);
5. must be willing to modify the wall design of the Building Project as per the RBS team Consultation in the event the wall design component of the Building Project plans are not consistent with the Sponsor’s recommended use and best practices of ROCKWOOL stone wool insultation, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion;
6. must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, and (where imposing such condition is legal) a Publicity Release (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”). For a Canadian winner, the potential winner must answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question as part of the Prize Claim Documents process.

Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by the Potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, a Potential winner does not respond within three (3) business days of the first notification attempt, or if the Prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize. If any potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified and another entrant will be randomly selected. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a potential winner. If a potential winner fails to provide approved Building Project plans within five (5) business days of being contacted or refuses to sign and return all Prize Claim Documents within five (5) business days after receiving the Prize Claim Documents (or a shorter time if required by exigencies), the potential winner may be disqualified, and the Prize may go unawarded, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Delivery of the Prize will be coordinated with the winner by the Sponsor upon receipt of the completed Prize Claim Documents. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding.

GENERAL: By participating in the Promotion, each entrant agrees that the Promotion Entities (i) shall not be responsible or liable for any losses, damages or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in the Promotion or in any Promotion related activity, or from entrant’s acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (ii) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any Prize and specifically disclaim all such warranties, including without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No correspondence will be acknowledged. No substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Promotion Entities will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize or participation in the Promotion or any prize-related activities. Acceptance of a Prize shall be construed as and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner’s name, voice, likeness and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes (including any social media platforms) without further consideration, review, approval or payment, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or in administration of the Promotion.

LIMITATIONS AND RELEASES: The Promotion Entities assume no responsibility for any damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer system which is occasioned by participating in the Promotion, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, late, lost or stolen prize notifications; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet Service Providers, websites, social media platforms or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, printing errors, clerical, typographical or other error in the offering or announcement of the prize or in any prize notification documents, or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information. Any attempted form of entry into the Promotion, other than as stated herein, is prohibited, including tampering, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, and award the Prizes from among all eligible non-suspect participants in a random drawing, provided a sufficient number of eligible entries have been received. Caution: Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.

The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend this Promotion (or to amend these Official Rules) in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of this Promotion as contemplated by these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
