The Building Science Symposium Comes to Canada

MAR 7, 2024

Toronto, Ontario, April 23-24, 2024

The Building Science Symposium series is coming to Canada, and you won't want to miss this lineup of industry experts!

It all began in 2020. Travis Brungardt and Joe Cook of Catalyst Construction got together with a group of local builders in Kansas City who shared the common goal of learning how to build better. This was the start of the Kansas City chapter of The BS* + Beer Show, a grassroots movement founded in Maine by high-performance building advocates Michael Maines and Emily Mottram. Four years later, the Kansas City group has evolved into a multi-city tour of building science symposiums across the US, and now, Canada.

The Minnesota BSS event featured (l-r) Kohta Ueno, Travis Brundgart, Steve Baczek, John Straube, Joe Cook, Randy WIlliams, and Jake Bruton

On April 23 and 24 some of the biggest names in the building science community will be presenting at the Mill Street Beer Hall in Toronto, Ontario covering a wide range of topics, from the fundamentals of the control layers to the top ten high performance wall and roof assemblies.
